MPCC chief spokesperson demands action against BJP, its candidate Nitin Gadkari

Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief spokesperson, Atul Londhe, on Wednesday wrote a letter to the State Election Commission demanding to take immediate action against BJP and its candidate for Nagpur constituency Nitin Gadkari for alleged violation of the model code of conduct.
In the letter, he complained that senior BJP leader, Union Minister and Nagpur LS candidate Gadkari has violated the code of conduct by using school children for election campaign, despite clear directive of the Election Commission not to use children for election-related programmes.
On April one, students of NSVM Phulwari High School participated in Gadkari's campaign rally in Vaishali Nagar area of Nagpur city he informed and described this violation of the law as very serious.
