Modi Govt fulfilled Dr Ambedkar's dream of development of underprivileged: Maha DyCM

Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has realised the dream of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar to develop the deprived sections of society, poor, tribals and farmers of the country, said Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday.
Addressing the party workers at 'Vijay Sankalp Sabha' held in Akola after BJP-Mahayuti candidate Anup Dhotre filed his nomination for the Akola Lok Sabha seat, he said that the Modi government will continue to provide justice to underprivileged in future as well.
The government will continue to spend money preferentially for the welfare of underprivileged, he said and informed that this election is the people's election.
Stating that the Constitution of the country is safe in the hands of Modi, Fadnavis claimed that ongoing
disinformation campaign about change in the Constitution is being spread by the Opposition due to existential fear.
The Constitution is more important to PM Modi than scriptures, he noted.
The Congress had committed the great sin of imprisoning more than two lakh leaders and ordinary workers like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, George Fernandes and others during Emergency, Fadnavis charged and reminded that the then prime minister Indira Gandhi had misused the Constitution.
