Fadnavis hints towards pre-polls alliance in Goa

Panaji, Nov 22 (UNI) Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis on Monday hinted that there could be a pre-poll alliance in the state.

Responding to a question of reporters, Mr Fadnavis, who arrived on a two-day visit to the state, said, 'You will get to know about it (pre-poll alliance) soon.'

However, he avoided further questions.

Congress has announced that it was in talks with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for a pre-poll alliance. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Trinamool Congress have kept their cards close to their chest.

The political parties in the state have intensified preparation for the assembly elections to be held in the state early next year.

BJP had contested 2017 assembly elections alone and won 13 seats.
