BJP condemns mid night protest held by Congress leaders in Goa

Panaji, Oct 3 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Goa on Saturday condemned the protest staged by Congress leaders on Friday night at a hotel in the city after they were denied to meet Union Minister for Environment Prakash Javadekar.
In a tweet, BJP Goa spokesperson Dattaprasad Naik said,''Only CHORS n DACOITS do such things at Midnight @INCGoa inspired by their National Leader who was playing to the gallery at HATRAS yesterday. @BJP4Goa strongly condemns such act by @INCGoa.''
Several Goa Congress leaders, including Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Vice President Sankalp Amonkar, were detained on Friday night after they staged a protest in front of a hotel in the city after they were denied permission to meet Union Minister for Environment Prakash Javadekar.
