BJP will contest polls independently but ready to join hands with Shiv Sena: Chandrakant Patil

Kolhapur, Jul 28 (UNI) After going hammer and tongs against the tripartite Maha Vikas Aghadi government over its' handling of the COVID-19 crisis, the BJP on Tuesday signalled a positive overture towards its' former ally Shiv Sena.
Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil stated that the saffron party is ready to cling to Sena, if the interests of the state are served.
Mr Patil gave the statement, having the potential of kicking off a political storm at a time when there are reports of rift between the MVA, during his interview to ABP Majha, a Marathi news channel.

Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh and Telangana; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Rayalaseema; at many places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad; at a few places over Chhattisgarh and Lakshadweep; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, west Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Saurashtra and Kutch, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 44.0°C was reported at Kothagudem (Telangana) over the country.
