Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 21 (UNI) Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported at least 660 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours in all the eight districts combined, authorities said on Wednesday.
The districts also witnessed 22 more corona-related deaths during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region, Beed was the worst affected with 85 fresh cases and 7 fatalities, followed by Aurangabad with 156 new cases and 6 deaths, Latur 107 cases and 3 deaths, Nanded 111 cases and 2 deaths,Jalna with 96 cases with 2 deaths, Osmanabad 68 new cases 1 death,Parbhani 25 cases and one death and Hingoli 12 cases.
Meanwhile, 8,151more corona cases and 213 deaths were reported across the state during the same period.
With this, the state tally mounted to 16.09 lakh, of them 13.92 lakh were cured and 42,453 were succumbed so far.
