Aurangabad/Mumbai,May 24 (UNI) Maharashtra stare reported 208 fresh Covid-19 cases and no related death, according to health bulletin on Tuesday.

With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,83,010 and the death toll remain at 1,47,855.

Meanwhile, 133 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,33,176.
The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent .

Presently, 1,978 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

So far 8,07,37,311 swab samples have been tested till date and of them 78,83,010 (9.77 percent) tested positive across the state, the bulletin added

Meanwhile, no new Covid cases was reported across in the eight districts of Marathwada region of state, the bulletin further added.
