Maharashtra logs 1,076 new Covid cases

Mumbai, Sep 9 (UNI) Maharashtra reported 1,076 fresh Covid-19 cases, according to a health bulletin released on Friday.
The state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 81,08,442, while the overall toll stood at 1,48,280 with six new death cases reported.
The bulletin said 1,031 patients were cured of the virus and discharged, taking the recovery count to 79,53,080.
The state's recovery rate significantly stands at 98.08 per cent and fatality rate at 1.82 per cent.
Presently, there are 7,082 active Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the state, the bulletin added.
In Marathwada region there are 44 positive cases, including 10 in Osmanabad district, Latur (10), Nanded (9), Jalna (7), Aurangabad (5) and Beed (3), the bulletin said.
