Aurangabad, Aug 28 (UNI) The Marathwada region recorded 1,055 new cases of novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, authorities said on Friday.
Besides, 33 deaths were also recorded across the eight districts of the region during the same period.
All districts data collected by UNI stated that Aurangabad district was the worst affected with 13 deaths and 426 fresh cases, followed by Nanded 9 deaths, 148 cases, Latur 118 cases, 5 deaths, Beed 63 cases, 3 deaths, Parbhani 63 cases, 2 deaths, Jalna 81 cases, 1 death, Osmanabad 110 cases and Hingoli 25 cases.
