Aurangabad, Sep 10 (UNI) At least 2,026 persons were tested positive for novel coronavirus, highest so far across the eight districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra in the past 24 hours.
According to the data by health authorities, 35 patients have been succumbed to the virus during the same period.
Of the eight districts, Aurangabad was the worst affected with ten deaths and 387 fresh cases, followed by Beed which registered seven deaths and 166 new cases, Latur witnessed five deaths and 502 new cases, Nanded four deaths and 408 new cases, Osmanabad registered 258 new cases and four deaths, Jalna four deaths and 129 cases Parbhani one death and 113 new cases while Hingoli 28 new cases, the data stated.
