Aurangabad/Mumbai, Aug 4 (UNI) Maharashtra reports 1,932 fresh Covid-19 cases and 7 related deaths, according to health bulletin on Thursday.
With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 80,52,103 and the death toll goes up to 1,48,117.
Meanwhile, 2,187 patients were cured and discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 78,91,662.
The state's recovery rate currently stands at 98.01 per cent and fatality rate at 1.83 per cent.
Presently, 12,321 Covid patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the state, the bulletin added.
Meanwhile, the Marathwada region in the state reported 103 new Covid cases, including 33 in Osmanabad district, followed by 24 in Latur district, 21 cases in Beed district, 13 cases in Aurangabad district, 8 cases in Nanded district and 4 cases in Jalna district, while the remaining 2 districts did not report any new case, the bulletin further added.
