400 Field officers get election training

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mar 7 (UNI) Election training programme of 400 field officers was held in
accordance with upcoming Lok Sabha elections at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University auditorium.
Speaking on occasion here on Wednesday, district collector Dilip Swamy said that training is important and necessary for smooth voting process.
He further said that voting is an important stage in election process and asserted that traning is necessary to carry out this phase in a more accurate and transparent manner.
Swamy said that proper inspection and handling of voting machines, control unit, VVPAT must be done in a proper manner.
This training will be beneficial for making the election process in the district more transparent and error-free, he added.
