Mumbai, Sep 7 (UNI) Education should be student-centric and not teacher-centric, Maharashtra and Goa Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said here on Monday.
Addressing a press conference of Governors on the National Education Policy(NEP) 2020, he remarked, "While it is important to make education employment-oriented, it is all the more necessary to make it 'man making' to shape the character of students."
Laying emphasis on morals and values while implementing the NEP, he stressed, "Macro management through small committees needs to be done to translate benefits of the Policy at the ground level.
