Mumbai, Feb 29 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday distributed medical materials to gram panchayats of Pune, Thane and Raigad districts through the Chief Minister's Janaklyan Akbari.
He also inaugurated online skill training for children of Raigad district. The training will be given to 30 students of Savaroli village in Raigad district today.
Coperan Research Laboratories, Sandoz Pvt Ltd, Americares India Foundation have provided community medical materials as well as online training.
Through each Utsav Mandal, medical materials will be distributed to at least 500 to 600 families and 10 to 12 chawls and societies.
For this purpose, a total of 291 sets were given to registered public festival mandals, co-op societies in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad districts and a total of 79 sets in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, 12 sets of medical materials in Khalapur, Birwadi, Mahad in Raigad district.
After 8th, 9th, 10th standards, basic training in HTML and Coding can be useful for future students of Savaroli, Umbre, Khalapur, Birwadi in Raigad district and competition with urban children will build their confidence.
