Woman constable among five personnel dismissed for dereliction of duty in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Sep 4 (UNI) Five police personnel, including a woman constable, were dismissed from service for dereliction of duty coupled with indiscipline in their behaviour, Kolhapur Superintendent of Police Abhinav Deshmukh informed here on Friday.
The erring officials have been identified as woman constable Sameena Dilavar Mulla, Naik Santosh Hari Patil, Amit Deelip Sulgaonkar, Narayan Pandurang Gavde and Mahadev Pandurang Repe.
The offense of Sulgaonkar was not acting on a complaint and illegally communicating with the accused while Gavde and Repe were accused of having contacts with a notorious gambler, Dr Deshmukh.
