Shinde inaugurates Balasaheb Farmer Training & Agricultural product sales centre at Washim

Washim, Mar 4 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde asserted on Monday that the Mahayuti government in the state stands firmly behind the farmers.
He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration function of the Balasaheb Thackeray Farmer Training and Agricultural Product Sales Centre at Washim.
Shinde was on a tour of Jalgaon and Washim districts to inaugurate various programmes.
Shinde also expressed his belief that the training and agricultural produce sales centre will be of good use for marketing and value addition of local agricultural produce.
He further said that, during the past one and a half years, the Mahayuti state government has taken number of welfare schemes for farmers and helped them during the natural calamities situation. "My government stands firmly with farmers," he said.
He also praised MP Bhavana Gawali for constructing this centre in the name of the late Thackeray.
On this occasion, water supply and sanitation minister Gulabrao Patil, Member of Parliament Bhavna Gawli, Zilla Parishad President Chandrakant Thackeray, MLA Sarveshree Adv. Kiran Sarnaik, Lakhan Malik, and Collector Buvaneshwari S., among others, were present.
