Allow 500 people to attend functions, seeks COVID-hit Mah Tents & Decor Association

Kolhapur, Nov 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Tents and Decoration Association on Monday took out a march to the District Collectorate here, prominently demanding to further ease the COVID-19 restriction on the number of people attending political, cultural and religious functions.
They asserted that the pandemic has dealt a blow to the 'mandap' and decoration business and the people associated with the work are reeling under financial woes. Hence, a gathering of 500 should be allowed in the ceremonies as it will alleviate their livelihood problem.
Led by Association President Sagar Chavan, the agitators gathered at the Dasara Chowk and sloganeered for their demands while passing through the main streets.
