Indian Wells, OCT 14(UNI) Rohan Bopanna (India) and Denis Shapovalov (Canada) beat Jan-Lennard Struff and Alexander Zverev (Germany) 7-5, 6-3 in one hour and 12 minutes in the doubles pre-quarter-final of the Indian Wells Masters here on Thursday.
Rohan and Shapovalov fired three aces and committed two double faults. Alexander and Jan-Lennard served one ace and made three double faults. The Indo-Canadian pair won 84 per cent points (27/32) on the first serve and 67 per cent points (16/24) on the second serve. They won three of five breakpoints.
Alexander and Jan-Lennard won 73 per cent points (22/30) on first serve and 46 per cent points (11/24) on second serve. They won one of three breakpoints.
