Goa Dy CM appointed as Chairman of Sepak Takraw Federation of India

Panaji, Nov 29 (UNI) Goa Dy Chief Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar was on Sunday appointed as the Chairman of Sepak Takraw Federation of India.
His appointment as the head of premier body at the National level was for 2020 to 2024 period. His appointment was unanimous and was done at the Annual General Meeting of the National Body that happened in New Delhi.
Along with Mr Kavlekar, Suraj Desai has been appointed as the General Secretary of the National Body. A delegation from Goa led by Mr Kavlekar, Suraj Desai and Krishna Kharade attended the AGM and the elections in Delhi.
