Imwa reach semi-finals after defeating British High Commission team

New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) In the final league match of the Diplomatic Cup, organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, government of India, the Indian media team defeated the British High Commission team by 81 runs to enter the semi-finals.
The British High Commission won the toss and decided to field first. Indian Media Welfare Association (Imwa) openers Shivam Tripathi and Chirag Gothi gave a good start.
Tripathi made 50 off 34 balls and Gothi scored 68 runs in 50 balls, Imwa scored 162 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Rajesh Mehta scored 24 runs in 21 balls.
