Chennai, May 28 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin, who is
on an official visit to Japan to attract investors into the State, today
travelled by the high speed bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo.
In a tweet, sharing some photos of he boarding the train and seen
seated inside, Mr Stalin said “Traveling from Osaka to Tokyo on
Bullet Train...Will cover a distance of about 500 km in less than
two and a half hours".
“A railway service equivalent to #BulletTrain not only in design,
but also in speed and quality should come for use in India also
for the benefit of the poor and the middle class to make their
travel easier!#FutureIndia", he said.
The Tamil Nadu delegation led by Mr Stalin, after having fruitful
meetings at Osaka, landed in Tokyo today morning and the Chief
Minister travelled in the high speed bullet train along with the
officials.
Tamil Nadu Industries Minister TRB Raaja, tweeted "After another
successful leg of the trip in Osaka we arrived in Tokyo in the
#Shinkansen or #BulletTrain."
"A big lineup of meetings of prospective investors has been lined
up during the last leg of the trip to Japan in Tokyo", he added.
