Ward Governance System in GHMC soon: KTR

Hyderabad, May 3 (UNI) Telangana's Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao announced on Wednesday that the Ward Governance System (WGS) would soon be introduced in GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation).
During a review meeting with officials, Minister Rama Rao explained the government's objectives regarding the WGS and said it would be implemented to bring the administration closer to citizens in Hyderabad, an official statement said.
Through the WGS, citizens will be able to submit their complaints and suggestions to the government within the ward closest to them without going to circle offices or zonal offices. This would enable the government to know the problems of the people and solve them, hence increasing citizen participation in governance.
