SCRWWO donates COVID-19 safety gadgets to Central Hospital housekeeping staff

Hyderabad, Jul 7 (UNI) South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (SCRWWO) on Tuesday donated COVID-19 safety gadgets to Central Hospital housekeeping staff.
SCRWWO is in the forefront of welfare activities especially during COVID-19 pandemic situation and Central Hospital, Lallaguda, Secunderabad is one of the major Railway hospital on the zone which is treating the working and retired Railway Employees and their families suffering with mild symptoms of COVID 19.
In order to extend moral support and provide protection to Housekeeping staff, SCRWWO came forward to safeguard the employees of the Hospital and supplied them with various kinds of safety gadgets.
Ms Jayanthi Mallya, President, SCRWWO handed over safety gadgets such as 350 Face Shields, Sanitizer bottles and foot operated sanitizer stands to Dr Prasanna Kumar, Principal Chief Medical Director, SCR for the distribution amongst the House keeping staff of Central Hospital, who are the frontline staff in taking care of COVID care Centre in Central Hospital, Lallaguda.
The handing over of safety gadgets was undertaken in the presence of SCR General Manager Gajanan Mallya and Dr AVSK Prasad, Additional Chief Medical Director, SCR duly maintaining social distancing.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gajanan Mallya appreciated the efforts of SCRWWO Members for coming forward to undertake the noble cause and extending support to the housekeeping staff who are doing yeomen service during the COVID-19 pandemic times.
Dr Prasanna Kumar, on the occaasion, expressed gratitude for donating the safety gadgets.
