SCR commissions record number of electric locomotives

Hyderabad, Apr 5 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) achieved a milestone by commissioning 148 new three-phase electric locomotives in the last financial year, marking the highest-ever number in any year.

This represents a significant 45 percent increase compared to the previous best of 102 locomotives in 2022-23, according to a statement from SCR.
