BJP demands investigation into alleged phone tapping during BRS regime

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (UNI) Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday demanded a thorough investigation and strict action against officials involved in the phone tapping scandal during the BRS regime.
Speaking at a press conference at the party headquarters on Tuesday, Reddy said "We demand a thorough investigation and strict action against officials involved in the phone tapping scandal during the BRS regime". He highlighted emerging evidence suggesting that the phones of Bharatiya Janata Party workers, leaders, and office staff were tapped, emphasizing the need for decisive action.
"Such acts violate citizens' fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution. Phone tapping should only occur in cases of national security and terrorism with proper authorization," Reddy stressed.
