Ponguleti Reddy asserts; positions & power transient, promises to fulfill commitments

Khammam (Telangana), Feb 28 (UNI) Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy emphasised that positions and power are not permanent.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the Tribal Welfare Residential School building at Modipuram in Thirumalayapalem Mandal in this district on Wednesday, he acknowledged that his political journey from being an elected MLA to an MP within 11 months was made possible by the blessings of the people of Paleru.
Minister Ponguleti shared that the support he received from the people, which allowed him to hold office, remains in their hearts.
He highlighted the establishment of a school with a budget of Rs 5 crore. Noting the success of the free bus scheme that benefited 17 crore women, he announced the implementation of two additional schemes, including the provision of up to 200 units of free electricity.
Affirming the government's commitment to fulfill promises, Minister Ponguleti assured citizens that mistakes in public administration applications could be rectified by reapplying. He clarified the distribution of gas to eligible individuals and pledged to resolve 2,45,000 applications received through the Dharani portal, issuing white ration cards promptly.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the previous government's unfulfilled commitments, the minister criticised the discrepancy between the promised double-bedroom houses and the delivered hundreds.
He affirmed the government's intent to provide Indiramma houses to deserving individuals, along with financial aid of Rs 2500 to women.
Minister Ponguleti also expressed displeasure over the Rs 7 lakh crores in debts incurred by previous rulers, vowing to correct the damage done to the people and fulfill every election promise. He assured ongoing support for the people in times of difficulty.
