GHMC elections: KCR asks people to appraise performance of leaders before voting

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has appealed to the people to appraise the performance of leaders and think before they cast their votes.
Addressing a well-attended public meeting as part of campaigning for the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) at the sprawling Lal Bhadhur stadium here on Saturday evening, Mr Rao listed the various welfare schemes undertaken by the TRS government for the benefit of a cross section of the people.
He said many people had expressed doubts that there would be no water and power if Telangana state comes into being but now due to the tireless efforts of the TRS government there was 24-hour power supply and the state ranked number one in power consumption.
