Amit Shah claims Congress, BRS & Majlis equivalent: accuses them of corruption

Hyderabad, Mar 12 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared that the Congress, BRS, and Majlis are identical, labelling them as corrupted and family-centric ruling parties.
Addressing the "Vijaya Sankalpa Sammelan," a Booth Level President’s meeting held at L B Stadium on Tuesday evening, Shah emphasised the need for the people of Telangana to rally behind Modi, ensuring his third term as Prime Minister by winning 400 MP seats.
Shah accused Congress, BRS, and MIM of working together with an agenda and criticised them for being corrupt and family-oriented parties engaged in vote bank politics, neglecting the welfare of OBCs.
He urged the Telangana people to extend less than 12 seats out of 17 in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Shah mentioned the support provided to farmers with an annual credit of Rs 6,000 and the commitment to extending drinking water facilities to every household, benefiting 14 crore homes.
Shah criticized the previous UPA regime for providing only Rs 1.17 lakh crore to Telangana compared to Rs 5 lakh crore during the Modi regime. He emphasized that the BJP does not engage in vote bank politics and urged party workers to go door-to-door, explaining development programs to women.
Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy accused the KCR family of looting Telangana, labelling their rule as a dictatorship. He claimed that within 100 days of Rahul Gandhi's Congress coming to power, taxes were being collected from various sectors in Telangana.
Reddy expressed the need for change in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Telangana and urged efforts to ensure the BJP wins all 17 seats. He called for defeating Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad and emphasized the Citizenship Amendment Act's implementation, assuring it is not against any religion or caste.
BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar and senior leaders were present at the meeting.
Later, Amit Shah offered prayers to Goddess Bhagyalakshmi in the old city along with BJP leaders before departing for New Delhi on a special flight from Begumpet Airport.
