Smriti Irani criticises Congress and INDI block for their double standard politics

Smriti Irani criticises Congress and INDI block for their double standard politics

Wayanad, Apr 4 (UNI) Union Minister Smriti Irani on Thursday made a scathing attack on the INDI bloc and the Congress party on their duplicity when it comes to Political understanding in New Delhi and Kerala.
Addressing a massive crowd at Kalpetta organised to extend support to the BJP State President K Surendran, the party candidate from Wayanad Parliamentary constituency, she said, "The INDI bloc leaders are hugging in New Delhi, but the coalition partners are competing with each other in Kerala, this is considered as cheating the people of Wayanad, so Rahul Gandhi should explain it".
Irani along with several BJP and NDA leaders accompanied Sudarshan who marched in a massive motorcycle rally to file his nomination papers before the District Collector Renu Raj.
K Surendran is pitted against AICC leader Rahul Gandhi and LDF candidate Annie Raja in the Wayanad Parliamentary constituency.
She reached Wayanad a day after Rahul Gandhi visited Wayanad to file his nomination from the Wayanad constituency. She said that Rahul Gandhi's family had done nothing for the Amethi people, so they defeated Rahul Gandhi in the 2019 elections. She said " I come from Amethi where Rahul Gandhi or his family members have been there for four decades. She said, after the BJP won from there, some developments were made under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
She said the Wayanad people will punish Rahul Gandhi in this election as the Amethi people did in the 2019 elections for his double-standard politics in North India and South India. Now Rahul Gandhi says Wayanad is their family . They have betrayed Amethi by calling them family and they will betray the Wayanad people too.
She asked "what is the policy of INDI bloc and who is your leader or Prime Minister candidate ?. Is it Rahul Gandhi, if Rahul Gandhi is not acceptable to the INDI alliance in Kerala then why should Wayand people accept him ?".
Smrithi Irani said " Rahul Gandhi is so desperate to win that they are taking help from the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI) in Kerala. She said "I am shocked after hearing the media reports that Congress is taking support from Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), (PFI political organization), in this election.
She ridiculously said, the Muslim League flags were hidden in Congress road show on Wednesday held at Kalpetta led by Rahul Gandhi, which indicates that Rahul Gandhi was ashamed of getting support from Muslim League during the election campaigns in North India. But people should know that Muslim League is an ally of the Congress led United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala.
