Kadapa, Apr 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president YS Sharmila alleged that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy failed to exert pressure on the Centre to grant Special Category Status (SCS) and complete the Polavaram project across the river Godavari.
APCC Sharmila, who is the younger sister of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, said that Jagan Mohan Reddy has failed to exert pressure on the Centre to grant SCS, establishing a steel plant in Kadapa, and also failed to construct a capital city for AP. Despite the ruling YSRCP having 31 MPs, it could not achieve anything for the state for the last five years, she alleged.
“Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a ticket to murder accused YS Avinash Reddy to contest Lok Sabha from Kadapa,” she flayed. YS Avinash Reddy is one of the accused in the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, who is the paternal uncle of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and APCC president YS Sharmila. Vivekananda Reddy was the younger brother of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
