Kakinada: BJP leader advises TDP, Janasena to adhere to alliance dharma

Kakinada, Mar 23(UNI) BJP senior leader and district unit Vice President Chitneedi Srinivas has advised the alliance partner parties TDP and Janasena to strictly adhere to the principles of alliance and use BJP flags also in their election campaign.
Srinivas told media persons that it came to his notice that some alliance candidates were not using BJP flags on their vehicles and in some constituencies, even the BJP party cadre was ignored in carrying out the campaign. ` If the alliance partners fail to honour the principles of alliance and go alone sidetracking the alliance partners, they will face the consequences in the elections. The BJP's strength should not be undermined in the combined East Godavari district. In the 1998 elections, the BJP won both the Kakinada and Rajahmundry Parliament seats contesting on its own which the alliance partners should not forget.
The BJP also bagged Pithapuram, Nagaram, and Rajahmundry Assembly seats without alliance’ he added. Srinivas further recalled that the government was formed in 2014 with only a two percent vote difference and defeating one percent votes was more than enough.
