AP govt wasted Rs 1,400 cr for painting, removing YSRCP flag colours to govt offices, schools : BJP alleges

Vijayawada, Apr 21 (UNI) BJP Andhra Pradesh Unit President Kanna Lakshminarayana alleged that the Andhra Pradesh government had wasted Rs.1400 crore for painting and removing YSRCP flag colours to the government offices and schools in the State.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Mr Lakshminarayana cited the AP High Court direction to the state government to remove the YSRCP flag colours, which were painted to the government offices, schools and panchayat offices, before conducting the local body election.
The government had spent Rs.700 crore to paint the government offices, panchayat offices and schools with YSRCP flag colours and now it has to spend the same amount to remove the colours.
