Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 2 (UNI) Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala on Friday extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
In a message, the Governor said Gandhiji's message of life echoes in many articles of our Constitution. As citizens, let us strengthen our culture of non-violence and harmony, which is the most effective way to a sustainable future."
"My humble pranams to Mahatma Gandhi, whose deep involvement in the political process was motivated by profound spirituality. ‘To Serve is My Religion’, is what Gandhiji often said," he added.
