Bengaluru, Mar 6 (UNI) The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the Government of India's implementing partner for the midday meal scheme hosted Music for Meals, an annual mega event, featuring Vijay Prakash, renowned playback singer of "Singara Siriye" (Kantara) fame, and Pravin Godkhindi, acclaimed Indian Classical Hindustani flute player.
The event aimed to blend the harmony of music with the mission of feeding millions of children in need.
The concert began with Godkhindi's melodious jugalbandi with his son, Sri Shadaj Godkhindi, wherein they performed Pahadi raga.
