Moily loses ticket to Raksha Ramaiah despite hectic lobbying

Bengaluru, Mar 29 (UNI) Despite lobbying from senior leaders like former Union Minister M Veerappa Moily and former Minister NH Shivashankara Reddy, Raksha Ramaiah, son of former Minister MR Seetharam, was chosen for the Chickballapur parliamentary seat.
Despite their lobbying efforts, Ramaiah, the son of former Minister MR Seetharam, secured the nomination.
Moily, who had previously represented Chikkaballapur twice in 2009 and 2014 before facing defeat in 2019, argued for his candidacy, citing his continued involvement in the constituency. He questioned Ramaiah's contributions, asserting that Ramaiah only emerged as a contender after the Assembly elections last year.
