Bengaluru, Feb 29 (UNI) Karnataka BJP MLAs held a protest in Vidhana Soudha on Thursday morning, urging action on the matter concerning to 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans raised by Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain's supporters.
They flayed the Congress government for not arresting the supporters of Congress Hussain who raised pro-Pakistan slogans on assembly premises. R Ashoka, the Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka assembly, demanded the arrest of those who raised pro-Pakistan slogans.
So far Mohammad Shafi Nashipudi, Hussain's supporter, has been detained by Byadagi police. He was present in Vidhana Soudha along with Hussain in the celebration after the Rajya Sabha election victory, police said. "We have collected his voice sample and are analysing it," they said.
