K'taka: Neha Hiremath laid to rest amidst massive protests in Hubballi

Hubballi (Karnataka) , April 19 (UNI) The funeral of 23-year-old Neha Hiremath, who was brutally murdered at BVB College, turned into a massive rally demanding justice, as thousands of mourners and activists converged to express their grief and outrage.
Neha Hiremath was laid to rest here on Friday amidst an overwhelming turnout of mourners, with the funeral procession stretching over 3 kilometers. What began as a solemn affair soon transformed into a powerful rally, with various student groups and organisations joining hands to voice their demands for justice.
Protesters carried banners and placards, chanting slogans condemning the heinous crime and calling for stringent action against the perpetrator. The emotional gathering highlighted the collective anger and frustration of the community over Neha's tragic death.
