Bengaluru, April 11 (UNI) A BJP worker CS Naveen sustained head injuries after he was reportedly attacked with a wooden stick at Kempashettidoddi village in Bengaluru Rural Parliamentary constituency on Thursday, according to police.
Based on the victim family's account, the attack seemingly stemmed from a dispute, possibly financial in nature, between Naveen and an acquaintance named Shekhar. The altercation escalated when Naveen was allegedly assaulted by Shekhar and his accomplice with a wooden stick.
The victim was immediately rushed to a local hospital where after initial treatment, he was shifted to another one where is currently being treated.
