ISKCON gears up for grand Brahmotsava, silver jubilee celebrations

Bengaluru, April 19 (UNI) ISKCON Bengaluru is all set to host its much-anticipated Brahmotsava festival, which will commence on April 21. The festival will also mark the Silver Jubilee of the temple, adding an extra layer of significance to the celebrations.
The highlight of this year's Brahmotsava will be the Maha Kumbhabhisheka ceremony, a sacred ritual performed once every 12 years for the main Deities (mulavars). Spiritual leaders, distinguished guests, and lakhs of devotees from across India are expected to participate in this 13-day event.
The festivities will kick off with the Dhvaja Arohana, or the hoisting of the flag bearing the insignia of Sri Garuda Dev. The temple premises will be adorned with vibrant decorations, including flowers, festoons, and colourful lights, creating a festive atmosphere.
