Telangana Heritage Dept. inks MoU with Noor Microfilm to preserve manuscripts beyond 100 years

Hyderabad, Apr 26 (UNI): Telangana State Heritage Department has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Noor Microfilm International Centre here on Friday to preserve the priceless manuscripts beyond 100 years.
Situated at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, New Delhi, the Centre has expertise in treating documents and preserving paper documents with new Herbal Technology which is reversible and enhances the life span of the document beyond 100 years.
The MoU was signed by Bharati Hollikeri, Director, Department of Heritage Telangana and Mehdi Khajeh Piri, Director, Noor International Micro Film Centre in the presence of Shailaja Ramaiyer, Principal Secretary( Y.A.T. & C Dept.) for Repair, Conservation, Digitalization, Documentation and Cataloguing of the manuscripts, paintings and other documents kept in the State Museum.
