Puducherry, Sep 11 (UNI) As many as 504 more persons were tested positive for Coronavirus, taking the total number of active cases to 4,878 while 12 patients died in the Union Territory since the last 24 hours.
According to the COVID 19 status released by the health department here on Friday, 438 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 35 in Karaikal region, 27 in Yanam region and four in Mahe region.
As many as 394 persons were discharged during the last 24 hours. Of them, 353 were from Puducherry region, 31 from Karaikal region, and ten from Yanam region.
