Puducherry, Jul 28 (UNI) As many as 141 more persons tested positive for Coronavirus taking the total number of active cases to 1,182 and four patients died, including N R Congress General Secretary V Bhalan, in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to the COVID 19 status released by the health department on Tuesday,130 new cases were reported in Puducherry region and 11 in Yanam region.
About 86 persons tested positive for the virus were admitted to the government medical college, 40 to Jipmer, four to Covid Care Center(CCC) and 11 to Yanam Government Hospital.
