Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 27 (UNI) Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Thursday forwarded a letter received by him from Opposition leader in State Assembly Ramesh Chennithala to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for appropriate action.
The letter raises serious concerns over the fire that broke out at the protocol department in the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Government Secretariat on Tuesday evening.
Soon after the fire incident, Ramesh Chennithala along with a few Congress MLAs who visited the accident spot, called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan and appraised him of a possible Government conspiracy to destroy crucial files related to movements of parcells from the UAE Consulate and CCTV visuals proving close contact of Swapna Suresh, a key accused in the diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case, with the CM's office.
