Three-day SIMUN conference begins in Kovai

Chennai, Apr 1 (UNI) A three-day South Indian Model United Nations (SIMUN) Conference – Fostering Global Citizenship, began at the Indian Public School in Coimbatore on Monday.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh Dogra, Deputy Commandant of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Coimbatore in the presence of Dr. Sonali Geed, the chief academic officer, Dr. Thara Mohan, Chief Executive Officer of The Indian Public School and the presided by the Director General and Secretary General of SIMUN.
Organized by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme students, SIMUN is hosting over 1200 delegates from 50 plus schools across South India, according to a press release here.
