DMK LS manifesto promises appnt of Guvs to States with CM's consultation, reduction in LPG, fuel prices, NEET exemption,

Chennai, Mar 20 (UNI) DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin released the party's manifesto for the April 19 Lok Sabha polls offering a slew of promises that included appointment of State Governors with CM's consultation, reduction of LPG and fuel prices, exemption from NEET.
The manifesto also promises Rs 1,000 monthly allowance for all women in the country, besides abolition of Article 356 and removal of Article 361 of the Constitution,
Highlighting the key promises announced in the manifesto, Mr Stalin told reporters that amendments would be made to the Constitution of India to accommodate relevant recommendations of expert committees on Centre-State relations in order to grant more autonomy to States; the appointment of Governors after duly consulting the Chief Ministers of States; abolition of Article 356 and the removal of Article 361 of the Constitution of India and exempt Tamil Nadu from the purview of NEET exams in admissions to UG medical courses.
