Telangana CEO conducts video conference on postal ballot guidelines for general elections

Hyderabad, Mar 31 (UNI) Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana Vikas Raj conducted a video conference on Sunday with all district collectors and electoral officers focusing on postal ballots for the upcoming general elections to Lok Sabha in 2024.
The CEO of Telangana briefed the attendees about the Election Commission of India's guidelines regarding postal ballots for various categories of electors. This includes those on election duty, senior citizens (85 years and older), and persons with disabilities (PwD) who are eligible to vote from home, a statement from the CEO office said.
A database of personnel appointed on election duty has been prepared by district election officers, and it was stressed that all employees must submit Form 12 to exercise their voting rights through postal ballots.
