KCR lambasts Congress for broken promises, calls for vigilant opposition

Hyderabad, Apr 13 (UNI) BRS President and former Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing it of betraying the public trust with false assurances and emphasised the need for a robust opposition to ensure accountability.

Addressing a spirited gathering at a public meeting titled "Praja Ashiwada Sabha" in Chevella, Rao reiterated the pivotal role played by Dr B R Ambedkar's principles in the formation of Telangana, symbolised by the installation of a monumental 125-foot statue and the dedication of the state secretariat in his honour.
