Lok Sabha Election: 86 nomination papers rejected after scrutiny in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 5 (UNI) Nomination papers of 86 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections were rejected during scrutiny held on Friday.
"With this, there are currently 204 candidates. The final list of candidates will be published following the deadline for withdrawal of nomination papers, which ends on Monday," Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Kaul said.
In total, 290 candidates had filed nomination papers in the State as the deadline for filing nominations ended on Thursday .
