Chikmagalur to have Medical College established within next two years: Minister

Chikkamagaluru, Nov 7 (UNI) Karnataka Minister for Health and Medical Education Dr K Sudhakar today said that a medical college will be set up within the next two years in the coffee land.
Speaking to newsmen after reviewing Covid-19 and medical college project here on Saturday, he said that the foundation stone for Medical College will be laid in December by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
He said as per the AMC rules, three primary health centers and one city central hospital will be upgraded. The government has already appointed 69 teachers and out of 91 primary health centers four doctors will be appointed.
