Police constable allegedly commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 7 (UNI) A police constable allegedly took his own life by shooting himself with his service weapon at the Kabutar Khana Police picket, located within the jurisdiction of the Hussaini Alam Police Station, in the early hours of Sunday.
The deceased, identified as Baleshwar, was a 1995 batch Telangana State Special Police Constable from Lakshmipur Achampet Mandal in Kurnool district.
Upon receiving the report, South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Sai Chaitanya arrived at the scene to conduct inquiries. The body was subsequently transported to Osmania Mortuary for postmortem examination.
